Our dynamic and welcomming chapter was founded in 1975 at California Polytechnic University , San Luis Obispo. The first Alpha Phi class, the "Alpha" class, consisted of about 35 members, initiated by the sisters of the Epsilon Gamma chapter from CSU Sacramento . Thirty years in the making, we are ever growing in number as our chapter now boasts 127 members as of Spring 2009. Recently, our chapter welcomed the newest "Alpha Upsilon" class. We are one of the oldest sororities on our campus, and have lived through decades of change and growth as our members show year after year.
Young and not-as-young alike, it is apparent when our alumnae return each year that we are all the same women - just growing up in different generations. A special and unique kind of love brings us all back to this house, as we find alumni knocking at our door all the time, wanting to simply run through the house again and tell us their stories! Just like the spirit of every one of our women, our chapter, Epsilon Chi, is one of strength and longevity that will never die.We see the love for our sisterhood apparent through our alumnae and our chapter today. Epsilon Chi brings a long lasting sisterhood to California Polytechnic University that has changed our college experience to last a lifetime.
34 wonderful years later, here we are.
Welcome, Alpha Upsilon!!
